Magnetic Fluid

Water-based magnetic fluid, black in color. this fluid has a saturation magnetization of 200±20 Gs, a density of 1.18×10³ kg/m³, and a viscosity of 1-10 cp at 25°C. it offers a thermal conductivity of 0.59 W·m⁻¹·K⁻¹ and surface tension of 26×10⁻⁵ N/cm. Ideal for magnetic fluid seals in various machinery.

What Is Magnetic Fluid

Magnetic fluid is a kind of new functional materials. it consists of a stable colloidal dispersion of subdomain magnetic particles with nano-scale diameter in a liquid carrier. its compositions are shown on the left. magnetic fluid not only possesses the property of the liquid’s liquidity but also the magnetism of solid magnetic materials. for this reason, it has a wide application in practice and high academic value in theory.
